Pre-season underway for Rugby Club

Globe Holidays sponsored Stocksbridge Rugby reported for their first pre-season training session last week, & Head Coach Aaron Kaye declared himself pleased with the attendance numbers & the effort of the playing squad. Training is on Wednesdays at the Coal Pit Lane Arena from 6.15pm, & the build up is now underway for the Counties 4 Yorkshire South league competition which begins on September 6th, when Stocksbridge will entertain newcomers Hallamshire RUFC. The Fox Valley Trophy series will begin the week after when Wortley RUFC will host their neighbours & current holders Stocksbridge Rugby.  
The Manchester Road clubhouse will also be showing the British & Irish Lions test matches from Australia live on forthcoming Saturday mornings for members & guests.
