Stocksbridge Rugby celebrate 60th playing anniversary

2023 sees Globe Holidays sponsored Stocksbridge Rugby celebrate their 60th playing anniversary, & to mark the event the club are planning an ambitious celebration at their Manchester Road Club House HQ on Saturday 4th March from 5.30pm onwards. If you are a past player, or know a past player please ask them to contact the Club or Julian Wilkinson to register interest & confirm attendance. It is sure to be a fabulous evening full of memories, tales & the odd scrape both on & off the field, with many of the Clubs legendary players. Let’s help celebrate 60yrs of the self styled Piggy’s, all are welcome.

the 1st XV host Leeds Modernians on the day at coal pit lane with a 15:00 KO. All club spin on sore are encouraged to come along for the day also.
