Looking very pleased with himself, holding 2 Trophies won by Globe Holidays sponsored Stocksbridge Rugby this season, skipper Andy 'clock tower' Beal should feel pleased with his efforts & achievements during his first season at the helm. The Fox Valley Trophy was added to with the Uniplex mid-week Vase victory leading to a refit of the Club's Trophy Cabinet.
'It's been a long hard slog, with some tough times for us,' said the Club Captain, & he added, 'I'm very proud of the lads & the commitment they have shown during this term, this has helped make my decision to stay on as skipper for another season an easy one, to help us on the journey. There is an exciting young crop of young players improving with each game, & I want to help them & our club continue our progress under Head Coach Aaron Kaye & his team.' The 1st team squad will now enjoy a break for rest & rehabilitation, before returning for pre-season training early in July.
