Changing Rooms
Changing rooms will be designated to home and away teams, and girls and boys on arrival to the pitches. Other appropriate adults i.e. coaches, first aiders will be assigned an adult only changing room. Appropriate adults in groups of 2 that have a up to date DBS check, and are the same gender as the changing room they are entering will only enter the children’s changing area if:
*A child becomes ill
*Injury
*Poor behaviour
Where a child with a disability requires support from a parent/ carer they will be offered an unoccupied changing room. In the event of this not being available they will be asked to use the changing rooms first before the rest of the team can enter. When senior teams are playing at home or training anyone under the age of 18 is forbidden to enter the changing rooms, and if needed they will be advised which facilities they can use.
Photography
Parents/ carers are asked to sign a form at enrolment to gain permission for their child’s photos to be shared on the rugby club Facebook page and on the pitcher website. The form clearly states that they must only post pictures of their own children unless they have permission from other parents, Coaches and parents are advised not to ‘tag’ children on Facebook photos or write children’s full names, but first names only.
If a parent/ carer wishes for their child’s photo not to be posted team managers will be informed so they can monitor online line images to the juniors Facebook page.

Coaches and team managers work closely with parents and carers via WhatsApp and Facebook to relate any upcoming events or changes to training/ matches. These groups are for parents only and anyone under the age of 18 will not be added to these communication groups.
The Juniors and Seniors teams have separate Facebook pages which they us to update supporters and parents about club events/ matches. Parents/ carers are allowed to add photos of their children but are asked to not add photos of other children with out their parents permission. Coaches and parents are asked not to ‘tag’ children in photos or add full names, first names only. See photography policy above for more details.
The clubs Pitchero website allows photos to be posted by Junior Club Officials with Parent/ Carers permission only. Parents are asked to sign a form at enrolment to say they agree to the terms above.

Anti- Bullying
As a club we do not accept bullying in any form, we take this matter very seriously. Serious bullying could result in your child being banned from the Juniors section.
Recruitment
All volunteers and coaches involved at SRUFC hold a valid DBS check. These are updated regularly. Vetting and the official DBS checks are only part of the process we have in place to protect the children in our care, Good communication and good relationships between players, parents, coaches and staff ensure that the club ethos is followed and developed to it full potential.
